Scrapping 101-5 JOURNALING


Hello Everyone!

Here is the layout that will be used for Thursday's class -since we did not have a class on the 19th we'll offer the same class again this week, don't miss out this will be a great class to give you some ideas on journaling those special memories-


This layout was created using:

1 sheet of s.e.i large floral patterned paper , 1 sheet of Dreamland Meadow by Sandylion, Autum Leaves Swirl clear stamps and Journaling block, foam under flower for dimention, ribbon, die cut letters by BossKut, glitter glue, sand paper for distressing and black gel pen.


Class materials:

*2 sheets of solid cardstock, 1 light for your base and 1 for matting

*2 sheets of patterned paper (unless is reversible you'll only need 1)

*1 yard of ribbon

*foam squares

*1 5x7 picture of 2 4x6 pictures

Choosing Pictures for your Layouts S101-5

Hi!

First, I'd like to say...What a wonderful week this has been...lots of rain and a super crop on Friday! Yey!

Yesterday's crop was so much fun!
Thank you ladies for sharing your albums, stories and ideas, I can't wait to see you all next week.

Second, I would like to welcome BARBARA and thank her for joining us on crop night...Welcome to Pretty Crafty Barb!

Now, for next week's Scrapbooking 101 class...S101-5 . We will talk about how to choose the best pictures for your layouts. Once again the theroy part will be short and sweet, which will give us plenty of time to work on our project.

The list:
3 sheets of Cardstock:
*1 for matting, 1 for your base, 1 medium to dark for matting on the large picture
2 sheets of patterned paper
1 yard of ribbon
Brads
foam squares (to add dimention)
Lots of picture of one event
+ Your Basic Tool Kit



Here is the sample LO for S101-5 If you are anything like me , I love to take lots of pictures and many times want to include more than just a few on one single page or two...

Choosing Patterned Paper


Hi! Well, here it is! The sample LO for our next class..."Choosing Patterned Paper"
First I'm goint to give you the list of materials for the next class. The theory part of the class will be short and sweet -like me- and we'll have plenty of time to work on the layout.
The supply list:
*3 patterned paper: 1 with large pattern, 1 with medium pattern and 1 with small pattern.
*1 yard of ribbon
*1 sheet of a solid color cardstock (for matting)
*7 brads or small elements
*1/2 a sheet of sanding paper
This layout was created by using faboulous double-sided pattern paper from CHATTER BOX; Olive Parlor roses and Light Parlor Paisley, Cardsock by Bazzill (my favorite); Brown PINECONE and Beige FRENCH VANILLA, Brown #1 ribbon from AMERICAN CRAFTS and Mini Brads Teddy Bear Brown by DOODLEBUG DESING INC. All of these items are available at PRETTY CRAFTY.
